Terms of use

Fiador — human-backed attestation for Discord bots. Fiador is independent open-source software, and this site is its public demonstration. By using this site or a Fiador verification result, you accept these terms.

The service

This site publishes a registry of signed attestations and checks them against public records on World Chain. The verification software is published under the Apache-2.0 licence; anyone may run their own copy, including their own verifier bot under their own Discord application. This demonstration site is provided as-is, without a warranty of any kind and without a promise of availability. It may change or be withdrawn at any time.

Nothing on this site creates an account, a contract, or a certification. Fiador is not affiliated with Discord or with World, and no result here is an endorsement of a bot, its operator, or its behaviour.

What a result means

A verified result means: a signed attestation names the application, the signing wallet is registered in AgentBook to a unique human, and the attestation is within its stated dates. It does not prove who wrote any message, who controls the application day to day, or who the human is. Where a page or card says "Claim unconfirmed", no stronger claim has been established, and presenting it as one misrepresents the result.

Verification reads live public records and can return "unknown" when those records cannot be reached. An unknown or failed result is a statement about the check, not proof of misconduct by a bot or its operator. Do not use a Fiador result as the sole basis for trusting or excluding a bot.

Acceptable use and changes

You may link to a bot's status page and display its result as rendered. You may not alter a result, badge, or card to claim a status Fiador did not return, or present a check of one application as a check of another. Automated use of this demonstration site must stay within reasonable volume; the operator may limit or block traffic that interferes with the service.

These terms may be updated; the date below records the current version, and continued use after an update is acceptance of it. For help, use the support page. The public Fiador issue tracker accepts general questions and bugs.
